Cool website… www.calorieking.com
I stumbled across calorieking.com one day when searching for nutritional data for certain food and drinks that I favor. The waistline isn’t what it used to be and some drastic measures need to be taken. The website includes the nutritional data for items from many popular fast food sites. I haven’t had a Dunkin Donuts Ice Latte since I checked out the calories, fat, and sugar content on calorieking.com. 260 calories, 9 grams of fat, 6 grams of saturated fat and 40 grams of sugar. YIKES, no wonder why I can’t fit into any of my jeans anymore!!  Instead I’ve switched to drinking French Vanilla Ice Coffee with milk and equal which is 35 calories, 1 gram of fat, 0.5 gram of saturated fat and 2 grams of sugar. That’s a big difference!
Another easy sacrifice I’ve made is asking for a splash of diet coke in my Long Island Ice tea vs. regular coke in my long island ice tea. An ice tea with diet coke has no fat, 130 calories and no grams of sugar vs. one with regular coke has 230 calories and 25 grams of sugar.  In my opinion, there isn’t a huge difference in taste and I typically don’t like diet sodas, however the variety of the alcohol makes the drink sweet enough that you don’t notice a big difference when using diet cola instead of regular cola.
