Chateau de Montfort Vouvray 2003
My husband and I tried this wine last summer when it was being served at a barbeque with friends. Since then it has become our new summer wine.  We often bring it to friends and family we are visiting. It is a light summer white wine on the sweeter side, however not too sweet. It seems to go with anything we eat - fish, steak, and spicy food. If you like Gewurztraminer you will probably like Vouvray. The Chateau de Montfort Vouvray 2003 is the kind I buy. It is on sale this week for $10.00 a bottle at the NH State Liquor Store.
