A risqué Google Ad on my blog?

Recently there has been a dicey advertisement rotating on my blog.  In looking my recent blog postings, “Pirates - Dead Man’s Chest” movie review, Okinawan diet posting, and my very first blog posting that describes how to come up with your computer username, using the same name generation strategy that porn stars use.  I guess if you look at the bolded words above, the ad showing up isn’t that much of a mystery.

I had contemplated changing some of my wording in my postings or contacting google to see if I can restrict ads like this one, as I’m just slightly embarrassed knowing fellow colleagues read my blog.  I have yet to click on the ad, it could be something innocent enough like a self-tanner advertisement - I just assume not find out.

I logged into my google ads account and noticed my earnings have doubled in recent weeks.  Could it be because of this ad?  Suddenly the ad is bothering me less.  I’m willing to trade a little embarrassement for gas money!

Don’t worry too much about it. We know you have no real control over the precise ads that pop up. Heck, if you start making tons of money on your ads, its us that should feel embarrassed for having clicked on it :D
