My husband and I jokingly have a list of 5 celebrities, that if we ever had the opportunity, could be unfaithful without questions asked.  This of course came about after a Friends episode where Ross’ list of 5, was the focus of the show.

My list is Jason Varitek of the Boston Red Sox (respectively has been 1st on my list for many years, Mike Alstott (of the Tampa Bay Bucs - my friend Chris pointed him out to me), Toby Keith (whom I just scored 8th row center floor tickets for his concert in Manchester, NH on Feb. 1 - woot !), Ed Burns, actor and writer (who isn’t as much physically my type, but there is something about his movies that I find completely appealing).  Spot #5 on my list is open at the moment, I like to leave it as my rotation spot.  People who have held spot # 5 in the past few years have included, Jeremy Shockey (NY Giants), Tom McManus (former BC Eagle and Jacksonville Jaguar), Matt Dillon (Actor), and John Cusack (Actor) just to name a few. 

For the most part, physically I’m attracted to big teddy bear guys with strong arms and big blue eyes.  I know that may sound a little shallow.

One day, in thinking about my list, something jumped out at me -  most of the guys on my list, or at least the ones that have been on there for the longest time, are guys who are married with children and appear to be monogamous to their wives.  So even in a hypothetical situation, where I could cheat, I couldn’t allow myself to cheat!  Additionally, I stumbled across Toby Keith’s and Ed Burns’ playlists’ on ITunes the other day, suprisingly they both had songs on their lists that I loved! We share similar tastes in music.  

I can see that my list holds something more than just physical attraction.  A realization that I’m a good Christian woman, and it isn’t any mystery why I chose the men for my list that I did which included some subconscious reasons aside from physical attraction.  Of course, I really don’t know the men on my list at all, however now I feel know myself a little better now.

It isn’t any wonder that I married the man I married, who is the most committed man that I have ever been with - not to mention he has the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen next to my nephew Sebastian’s blue eyes.
