Cinderella’s Castle Suite
The first time visited Walt Disney world and walked through Cinderella’s Castle I was in 7th grade.  I can remember wanting to so badly jump over the red velvet rope that blocked off a section or stairway that I presumed led you up into the castle.   I heard that years earlier, you could go up in the castle and then they closed it off. I’m not sure if that was an urban legend or if it was true?
The second time I visited Cinderella’s Castle, I was in 11th grade, and I can remember thinking the same thing, that I wanted to jump the rope and explore the Castle, however once again I resisted my urge to do so. To my chagrin, that same day, I did not resist my urge to switch carts on another ride, while the ride was in progress. A move that almost got me banned from Disney for life, however, that is another story.Â
The next two times I visited Disney in 1992 and last April in 2006, I remember feeling the same urge, It is like I knew I was being kept from something. I guess I can now understand why my cat doesn’t want to be closed off or kept out of any room in my home.
So the other night, when I saw a television commercial announcing Disney World’s year of a million dreams campaign that included a chance to win a night’s stay in Cinderella’s Castle Royal Suite, I almost fell off the couch!

Cinderella’s Castle design is based on Mad Ludwig’s Castle ”Neuschwanstein“ in Bavaria. I’ve been to Bavaria and have toured Neuschwanstein, so you would think my urge to break a law in and possibly get banned from life from Disney, would have subsided after seeing the real castle in Germany, however that is not the case!
This is Cinderella’s bathtub. I want one just like it in my castle..

Maybe when you get done hopping the rope to go upstairs, you can get into club 33 … the only place in Disney that serves alcohol and has a waiting list that’s years long.
that is one big bathtub
