6 years in prison and a $350k fine is NOT ENOUGH of a punishment!!!
Michael Vick, as you heard, has been brought up on charges related to organizing dog fighting events.
Here is a little excerpt from the charges brough against Vick:
The indictment said that in April 2007, Peace, Phillips and Vick “executed approximately eight dogs that did not perform well in ‘testing’ sessions by various methods, including hanging, drowning and/or slamming at least one dog’s body to the ground.” Vick also is alleged to have consulted with Peace before Peace killed a losing dog by electrocution in 2003.
At what point does society say enough is enough? Crimes like this, against innocent animals, should be met with the same severity of crimes of this nature acted out against humans.
So hanging, drowning, electrocuting, and slamming and violently killing eight dogs ONLY gets you a maximum of six years in prison and a $350k fine? IT IS NOT ENOUGH! The punishment should be much more severe.
How severe do I think it should be? Don’t even make me go there!!!
